STICK MAREEBO THE DJ
Stick Mareebo is one of Melbourne’s iconic DJ’s. With a career spanning 15 years, DJ’ing at several popular Melbourne night clubs, pubs and bars, including Tom Thumb, The Australian Grand Prix, The Metro, The Prince Band Room, Hard Rock Café, Heat night club at Crown and Bar Rouge at Zagames but has recently been the resident DJ at all Wine Quest events at Rochford Winery in the Yarra Valley, including the annual Cuban Jazz Festival, Grape Grazing Festival, Salsa Beats, and the annual Rhythm and Vines festival. Stick Mareebo has the ability to get your party going regardless of whom you’ve invited. With years of experience, Stick Mareebo has got the ability to read the crowd, and decide what it would take to get them on the dance floor.
Stick Mareebo is versatile in his DJ’ing style, and can adapt to play for any crowd at any party. Whether it be a wedding, engagement, 21st, significant age birthday party, Bar mitzvah, Bat mitzvah, or any special occasion.
Stick Mareebo is also a very experienced MC. He has worked for several of Melbourne’s big corporations and events, such as the Mother’s Day classic, Run for the Kids, Starry Starry Night children’s charity, and the Sids and Kids red nose Ball. Stick Mareebo has also hosted the Media Room at the TV week Logie Awards on more than one occasion.

Stick Mareebo’s career in radio began in the Summer of 1994 on Fox FM on the popular HOT 30 countdown show. Stick is known for whipping crowds into a frenzy whether it’s MC’ing a celebrity appearance, or playing at some of Melbourne’s hottest venues. Stick has got a 15 year career on commercial radio in Melbourne, starting at Fox and currently at Mix 101.1 since 2000. During this time in commercial radio, Stick has hosted several mega stars that have toured Australia including, a 25,000 strong crowd to see Hansen, Boys to Men, Take That (Robbie Williams’’ band), Destiny’s Child, PINK, Avril Lavigne, Shaggy, Human Nature, Anastasia, Jessica Simpson, Reese Witherspoon, Will Smith, Lawrence Fishburn and many more.
CURRENTLY
Stick Mareebo is the host of the Friday night and Saturday night party mix on Mix 101.1 from 7.00pm to midnight. When he’s not doing that he’s keeping it real by heading up the street team at Mix 101.1 heading out to the streets of Melbourne on a daily basis, giving away sample products from all of the clients advertising on the radio. DJ Eric has been on the Melbourne DJ circuit for more that ten years. His versatility has seen him working in a lot of Melbourne iconic bars, clubs and pubs. Eric is one of Melbourne’s best known DJ, who knows to get the dance floor pumping. DJ Eric can play any style of music that you require to make your party happened the way you want it. Eric is versatile in his music style, but he is one of the best R&B DJs going around. Stick's partner DJ - Brendan James
Brendan James is an experienced and versatile DJ, MC and Singer. For the last ten years, Brendan James has DJ’ed at many Melbourne’s bars and restaurants and wedding reception venues including Ripponlea Estate, Crown Casino, Potters, Monsalvat, 9 Darling St, fine wineries such as such as Stones of the Yarra Valley, and luxury hotels such as The Langham, Melbourne, and many others. Brendan James is versatile in his DJ’ing style, and can create playlist to suit any crowd at any party; whether it is a corporate event, wedding, engagement, 21st, significant age birthday party, Bar mitzvah, Bat mitzvah, or any special occasion. Brendan James is able to read the crowd, and decide what it would take to get the guests on the dance floor.
